About Me

Hello! My name is Mel. I have spent nearly the last 30 years being a mama. I consider it to be the most important role and job in the world. I am married to my best friend Chad, and we have 5 amazing boys. I believe the best way that I can serve my family and myself is by helping other people.  

I have learned nearly everything I know the hard way. Mistake after mistake and I would love to create a community that can share ideas, tips and life advice to help others make their journey smoother than the rutted road I have traveled.

I am nearing the point in my life when I will send my last little bird out into the great big ugly world and I am left wondering, what now?  

I have many loves and hobbies and I haven’t had a lot of time to pursue those, this is the time. I love to read, cook, travel, spend time with my family and go on just about any adventure you could throw my way.  

This next part of my life is exciting and a little scary. I haven’t had free time to explore myself and all of my passions so here we go. Bring on the next chapter of my story.
